Blood Sugar Balancing Workshop

If left out of balance for too long, our blood sugar can have ill effects on our health and in the worse cases can lead to diabetes, pre-diabetes and other health issues.

If you can answer “Yes” to any of the following questions, then Blood Sugar Balancing could help improve your health:

  • Have you gained weight over the past few years, especially around the middle?

  • Do you suffer from energy “slumps”, particularly in the afternoon?

  • Do you crave sugar and/or carbohydrates?

  • Do you suffer from mood swings or irritability?

  • Do you always feel tired or lack energy?

  • Do you suffer from brain fog or have trouble concentrating?

  • Do you struggle to fall asleep or stay asleep?

 

All these symptoms could be addressed with a few simple changes to your diet and lifestyle.

 

How will this workshop help you?

 

  • You will learn what the term “Blood Sugar Balance” means and how it affects the way your body works.

  • It will help you to identify areas in your own diet and lifestyle that could be adjusted to improve your own Blood Sugar Balance.

  • You will learn many simple changes that will help you make these improvements.

  • You will be given recipes and an example meal plan to demonstrate how to follow a Blood Sugar Balancing eating regime.   

What’s included?

The workshop begins at 10am and will finish at around 1pm or after lunch.  It will be in groups of a minimum of 4 people.  There will be a two hour presentation about Blood Sugar Balancing and how to make improvements, followed by a demonstration on how to put together a Blood Sugar Balancing lunch which you will then get to enjoy.  You will also be given a pack which will include fact sheets, recipes and an example meal plan to help you when you get home.

What’s not included?

This is a group workshop so it doesn’t include any one-to-one or personalised analysis or coaching.  If you feel you would like extra guidance moving forward then I recommend booking a course of Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching consultations.

Plant-Based Nutrition 

Have you ever wondered if a plant-based diet is really good for you? Would you like to know more about the perks and pitfalls so that you can make an informed decision? Perhaps you already follow a plant-based diet and have questions about how you can improve your nutrition.

I have put together an hour long presentation, to answer all of your questions, which will be followed by a delicious plant-based lunch. You will also be given a recipe pack so you can try some nutritious, plant-based meals at home!

Includes:

  • An hour long presentation followed by question and answer time.

  • A vegan lunch.

  • A recipe pack full of delicious plant-based recipes to try at home.
